As September 30th, the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation approaches, we will have the honour of a special presentation by Darin Wybenga, on the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation (MCFN).  Mr. Wybenga works as a traditional knowledge and land use coordinator for the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. Earlier in his career, Darin was an educator in elementary schools in Southern Ontario, specializing in history and geography. In recent years, he has worked for the MCFN for the Department of Consultation and Accommodation.  His work primarily involves educating about the history of the treaty lands, territory, and people of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. 

This is an excellent opportunity to learn about the rich indigenous history and culture of Mississauga.
