OUR OUTSTANDING ALTAR SERVERS

Every year the Serra Club of GTA recognize the dedication of chosen altar servers with a ceremony that includes Mass, a blessing and presentation of the awards.

On Saturday, October 26, eleven of our altar servers were given the Bishop’s Altar Server Award for Service. They were selected for outstanding service and for the devotion and care with which they attend to their altar server duties, showing their love of Christ and His Church.

Please join us in congratulating the following altar servers: Luke N., Rachel S., Gavin N., Luke R., Matthew R., Melanie S., Juan Gabriel M., Thomas A., David A., Jerusha S., and Jessica S.

In the letter the altar servers received from Archbishop Leo, he offered them this prayer “May Our Lord continue to bless you as you receive this honour, and to strengthen you, as you continue your faithful service as an altar server. May Mother Mary, St. Michael the Archangel our diocesan patron saint and St. Tarcisius, patron saint of altar servers, all guide you to your vocation, the one that God desires for you.”
