Pre-Authorized Giving Plan (PAG)

A COMMITMENT FROM THE HEART

Sts. Martha and Mary's Direct Debit Pre-Authorized Giving Plan is new way for us to do something we, as Christians and Catholics, have always done — to support the work of the Holy Spirit in our parish and our community.

For generations, Sts. Martha and Mary Parish has depended on the generosity, faith and commitment of our parishioners and friends, in order to provide a place for the work of the Spirit. That work goes on today, and so does your support.

The Pre-Authorized Giving Plan is a new option. It is not designed to replace more traditional ways of giving, but to provide a way, for those who may prefer it, to take advantage of its convenience and efficiency.

SAME GENEROSITY -WITH ADDED CONVENIENCE

The Pre-Authorized Giving Plan is a Direct Debit system that enables you to maintain your regular gifts automatically - even if you're unable offertory  to attend Sunday mass.

You don't have to worry having the right amount of cash for your envelope every Sunday. And with the Pre-Authorized Giving Plan, you can see at a glance how much you're giving to of Sts. Martha and Mary, and how much you can expect on your tax receipt.

HOW EASY IS EASY?

Simply decide how much you're able to donate to Sts. Martha and Mary's each month, and the Pre-Authorized Giving Plan deducts that amount from your bank account — and credits Sts. Martha and Mary's — on the 20th of every month.

Just follow these simple steps:

  1. Complete and sign the authorization form.
  2. Put the signed form, with a "VOID" cheque or the equivalent from your bank branch, into an envelope. (If you haven't already done so, fill out and include a Parish Registration Form.)
  3. Then just drop the envelope in the collection basket or bring it to the Parish Office.

Help us keep your information confidential and secure. Place your envelope only in the collection basket or bring or mail it to the Parish Office.

WHO RUNS THE PLAN?

The Pre-Authorized Giving Plan is administered by the Archdiocese of Toronto, through the Office of Stewardship and Development. Tax receipts for all offertory gifts are issued by of Sts. Martha and Mary Parish.

WHAT DO I DO WITH MY ENVELOPES EACH WEEK?

Dropping an envelope into the collection basket is a respected tradition in the Catholic Church, and it continues even with the Pre-Authorized Giving Plan. Just mark your empty envelope "P.A.G.” (for Pre-Authorized Giving).
